Sara and Cody are getting married at The Home Place at Valley view next October, so doing their engagement session there was the perfect idea! Another “high school sweethearts” couple, they are the sweetest people! Sara is my type of gal, super planned and organized and then there’s Cody, so laid back and ready to help wherever needed. The perfect match. After a couple times of trying to schedule their session, we finally were able to make it happen! Cody & Sara were supposed to get engaged in April at Disney but that didn’t end up happening because of COVID.

Sara told me that they had been to Disney before and saw some shirts there that they wanted to get, but ended up not purchasing. So, because their engagement didn’t happen the way they had planned, Sara secretly ordered the shirts straight from Disney to surprise Cody with at their engagement session! Of course, as shipping items typically go, the shirts weren’t going to arrive in time and were delayed. We rescheduled again and somehow, through it all, Sara was able to still keep her surprise and Cody never realized the real reason we had to reschedule. YAY! (Sara actually said it was because I needed to reschedule. lol! I’m totally willing to be the excuse for surprises like this! ) Super excited for their wedding next fall! It’s going to be so fun and amazing!
