– A Bride and Bauer Wedding –
It’s so strange to say this because in my head my little sisters will always be those 12 year old sisters and just the thought of them being old enough for marriage and college makes me feel super old! But….my sister is married!!!! Like big girl, doctor of pharmacy, married and adulting…if you have younger siblings you will know what I mean. I photograph weddings all of the time, but it’s so different when it’s your own sister getting married! It was such an amazing, happy, overwhelming, and incredible day. I’m not really sure how else to describe it! It was a whirlwind of all the emotions!
Leslie and John’s wedding at the Bride and the Bauer was amazing! The weather was perfect for July and everything came off without a hitch. Can we just talk for a minute about how beautiful she looked?!?! That dress, the makeup, the hair, the florals…oh my goodness! Everything was just so beautiful and Leslie was glowing!
John’s grandfather was able to come up from southern Missouri and perform the ceremony for them. I know that this was super special for John and his family and it was a lovely ceremony with the two of them surrounded by all of their family and friends. We had an amazing dinner reception following the ceremony and then John and Leslie danced the night away (see below for evidence 🙂 ).
I am so so so happy that Leslie has finally found her happily ever after in John. He is a great guy and I know that he will continue to make her happy for the rest of their lives. We are all so happy to have him in our family! Congratulations John and Leslie! We love you!
and….the BEST photo of the night 🙂
A huge thank you to all of the vendors who helped make Leslie and John’s day amazing. Especially to Alissa Bird of Alissa Bird Photography! I couldn’t have pulled off being a sister of the bride, matron of honor, and the photographer without your help!!
