I can’t believe that I get to meet and work with such amazing couples! Michael and Ashley drove THREE HOURS to do their engagement session! To top it off, we shot their entire session on our farm!

As Ashley told me, “Michael and I were introduced last year by a girl that I work with, who happens to be engaged to his cousin. We talked on the phone for a couple of weeks before meeting for the first time on July 1st. It didn’t take long for both of us to realize we were a perfect fit! This year on July 1st we were planning on going out to eat to celebrate meeting a year ago. He is a farmer, so of course we had to go feed cows before we could get ready to leave. He had me take one bucket and he took the other. I was pouring it out into the feed bunk when I heard something hit with a clunk. As I picked it up I realized it was a ring box! I turned around and there he was, grinning and still holding his bucket as he asked me to marry him….” So of course, when we were discussing where they would like to shoot for their engagement session, Ashley expressed that they wanted a farm styled engagement (with cows). So they drove up, we shot around on the farm and even let our heifers join us for a bit 🙂

I’m so excited to have Michael and Ashley as one of my 2018 couples and I can’t wait for their June wedding! I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites!
